It really is as simple as that!
Spots and stains are inevitable as accidents will happen. We have been fully trained and are constantly reading up on the latest techniques and products that can best remove these from your carpets or furniture. By all means follow these simple ‘First Aid Steps’ (link to the FAQs page) which may solve your problem but at least it will prevent the stain setting in. Or if you prefer cover the stain with the some white paper towel and call in the professionals and we will endeavour to get to you as quickly as we can.
All approved methods have a place. Companies that offer only one option may not be aware of other methods, or limited by a franchise agreement to certain equipment or chemicals.
It’s possible for untrained personnel to cause damage with any machine or cleaning agent. A judgement should be made by the technician depending on the type and condition of the carpet.
It depends on;
(1) the amount of use the carpet receives,
(2) the carpet type, (eg. wool or synthetic)
(3) your expectations of the carpet’s appearance.
It is important to clean the carpet before it begins to look tired.
In a family, home cleaning should be considered each 6 months to a year. In a busy commercial setting, this can be on a 2-3 monthly basis.
Leaving the carpet dirty for long periods of time will increase ware and reduce the lifespan of the carpet.
If cleaned with a cheap inferior machinery, yes!
Cheaper machines cannot remove all of the cleaning solutions. These residues will then attract dirt to the carpet.
However, with our powerful professional machinery, we remove most of the water and the solution we rinse the carpet leaves the carpet near to pH neutral which in itself helps inhibit dirt attraction to the carpet fibres.
If you have a spill, we are always willing to advise you on the best ‘first aid treatment’ give us a ring & we will talk you through the best procedures.
A ‘spot stain‘ is a small mark on a carpet that cannot be removed with vacuum cleaning. Carpet spot stains will regularly appear with out you being aware of dropping something. Sticky liquids or detergents spilled on the carpet will attract dirt to them over time.
The Woolsafe spot removal App is free & will take you through the best way to deal with a spill.
Woolsafe is an international organisation that promote the best procedures & products for wool maintenance.
We are very proud to be one of a small number of companies who qualified as Woolsafe fibre specialists.
Carpet cleaning is an unregulated industry, so we would always recommend using a company that has passed the Woolsafe or NCCA training standards.
